Dang kids, get a new toy and they pull it apart to see how it works. It is a lot more fun to say that someone than listen to my wife say it to me. Should have heard her when I had my V-Force less than a week and had the clutch aprt to put in a new spring and the bumper off for a new one etc. Nice job posting the pictures helps people see how it all works.

 

may i ask why did you strip it down? looks like alot of mud up high

 

Stripped it down to add a few things and try to address one of the problems you just pointed
out. Too much frickin' mud is getting to the top! After mudding, it is very hard to get it from
between the cylinder heads and from around the carbs. It's driving me nuts.

 

I was looking at your airbox. Is it different than the 700 or the 03 650? Just wondering because I still have the old 02 style and was thinking about upgrading.
