Default BF750 shift linkage adjustment??

I had to adjust my shift linkage on my BF750 while doing my ten hour maintenance. I've seen other posts indicateing that other have had to do this. Has anyone had any other problems related to the shifter?? Seems odd that this thing would have worn at all with so little hours on it. I have to wonder what's wearing and how much more it will wear? How long can this last?
Any thoughts?

check your motor mount bolts... 99% of the Prairies that have needed shift linkage adjustments, have had loose or missing motor mount bolts, resulting in the motor shifting, not the actual linkage needing adjustment...

Default BF750 shift linkage adjustment??

I had the same problem with mine, I chacked the motor mounts and they were tight, so far I have adjusted it twice with close to 60 hours on it, now it seems like it is staying in place, don't know why it was doing this though.

How do you know if it needs adjusting, and what is the procedure to adjust it?

I believe mine needs adjustment too, as it has a false "Neutral" & the reverse red lite doesn't come on all the Time. While in the "N" notch, I have to put the gear lever just slightly past the notch towards reverse.
Is this the same problem everybody else is having. I have a "Service Repair Manual" from my sold '03 P650, so hopefully that SRM will be the same for the shift linkage on the BF.

mine is the same way. (bfb750BF)
I believe we will have to remove the side plastic to get to the linkage.
