Hey all, I got a 2001 prairie 400. When I am driving real slow it feels like it is jerking or something is slipping and grabing. only does this at real slow speeds. Is this my belt slipping? Motor runs strong and does not miss out. It just started doing this today. If it is the belt, how hard is it to replace scale 1-10?

 

IT is a 3. The P650 is a 1, IMO. I rate the P400 belt job a 3 only because you have so much more stuff to take off before you can even see the belt. You can sortof follow the same procedures as the P650 (see my website for tech tips), but the P400 has no belt adjustment. If it is loose you need a new one.

I have no idea if it is your belt, I haven't heard of this. I suspect your helix could be messed or the helix shoes maybe.
