2005 kfx mojave?
#1
Anyone know if kawasaki is coming out with the 2005 mojave, because it seems a little late if there going to release it.Surely they wouldn't drop it from the line up,hopefully there updating it with even better features.

It looks like after 50 years, Kawasaki has finally pulled the plug on the Mo. It's a shame, even though it never recieved major updates it still did more than hold it's own in it's class. Kawasaki is focusing on the high profit top of the line 4x4 class, so unless Suzuki builds it, I would doubt they will introduce an updated Mojave. One of the mags has a 2005 Kawasaki line up in it and it doesn't even mention the Mojave. Notta, nothing, zip. It does mention about rumors swirling around in the GNCC pits about a new high performance proto-type in the works, possably with a clean burning 2 stroke or a more probable 450 4 stroke.

Well sh%t!. It did have a cardboard sign on the seat that said "05" but there were alot of people walking and sitting on quads and the sign could have come from another quad. Someone could have moved the sign to sit on a quad and put it on the Mo.
I didn't know they had changed the name last year....Mo's are pretty scarce around here. Just seeing one in a dealer is rare.

on the website it's still there and called the mojave. but it doesnt say anything about the year...hmmm... i assume the site is updated since they dont call the Vforce the "vforce" anymore -it's a KFX700. thats so stupid! Vforce was a cool name.
the mojave has a good engine and was years ahead of yesterday's market - but right in line with today's; (liquid cooled, DOHC). it's a good little machine and can run pretty good. since '88, i havent heard of too many problems with it. only problem is the chassis and overall design- they should update it.
