Default KFX 700 engine noise

I have a 2004 Vforce and I noticed that there was an unfamiliar noise and I need your input. It's not a coutinuous noise it comes and it goes. At first I tought it was the overflow from the radiator dripping on the hot exhaust making a (SH SH SH) noise. After inspecting it it was not the case it comes from the motor. I was wondering if it wouldn't be the camshaft chain flaping or rubbing against something. Looking at the repair manual there is a spring to keep the tension on the chain so it should not be loose right? It has not change the performance of the motor but it's annoying. If anybody have any Idea I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You
REG

Check that your choke is closing all the way, i was having the same noise. If you open your choke does it the noise get louder? Hope this helps
