I was looking at a post by roscoe69 about the different specifications between the hp2017 and hp2018.

The 2017 is a little smaller by approx. 0.2 of an inch. My question is this, would it make more sense to get the 2017 since it is smaller in diameter it can be shimmed to gain the .2 difference and it could also be tightened more than the 2018. Is the .2 difference material or not?
