Is this old news ? RE: Dyna CDI for KFX700
#1
I received this email from the guys @ Dynatek last night. Is this old news or is it a new release ? I did a search and didn't see anyone running a Dyna cdi in a V, might have missed it ??
Like I stated, received it last night. My orginal email request to them was back in 14 JAN 04 . Good on them for keeping my request and getting back to me ! If it's new news I thought Y'all might be interested.
Dear Scott,
OK, it’s finally here! The new Dyna FS ignition is now available for the KFX700 V-Force. This ignition offers an increase in advance of 35 degrees and a higher rev limit of 9700 rpm. Like the Prairie ignition, this system disables the factory reverse rev limit and drive belt limp mode. Suggested retail price is $230.00 and you may order this directly from our website or by calling us directly at 626-963-1669.
Sincerely,
Scott Valentine

No, it won't. If it were that simple we would have been selling the Prairie system for the V's 4 months ago!

Ok, so why not the same perks for the Prairie? Is it because the Prairie has to lug around more weight, therefore it has the possibility of detonation? I can't see the reason for the higher rev limit for the V, they have the same engine internals, right?
