Default anyone race a sportsman800?

price and the wait is what kept me from buying one, I am sorry now. the smoothness of the Polaris ride is second to none. I had no, nada, zero, zilch problems from my '04 700 EFI before I totaled it. I bought this new Brute Force and I am fighting with the dealer to get it fixed so I can ride the dang thing. I am one po-ed Kawasaki owner at the moment. I can't believe that I paid $8000 for an ATV that has an engine miss, and since some clown at the dealership says he couldn't make it happen in the parking lot, I have to pay to fix the dang thing myself. I had a similar experience with Yamaha on the 2002 Grizzly, I had to sell it and lost $2000 then two years later they issued a recall for my boiling gas/vapor lock problem. I doubt seriously I will ever buy a Japanese bike again. I have bought two of them, and both of them sputtered. If anyone has any good ideas on how to get my dealer to take care of this, short of threatening not to buy any more from him which doesnt seem to matter to him, I'd sure appreciate it. wishing I had bought the Polaris..........

Sorry to hear about that brute force 2005bf750 I was highly interested in the Brute but when I was at the dealer when I was looking for a new quad last month and I noticed one in the shop and I asked him what was wrong and the guys said it had an electrical problem it had been there for two days and Kawasaki didn't even know how to troubleshoot it the guys at my shop at least know the prairies inside and out and can fix them in a heartbeat but they were clueless on the brute ar so it seemed, that was a factor in my deciding to go with the p700 the tried and true aspect and the fact that they were clearing 04's and giving all sorts of deals on extra options and such was a bonus I think the brutes will be debugged in the next year or so but as of now they are "too new" for my blood. One thing is for sure they sure know the Brute forces good now all my buddies have been back to the dealer on more than one occasion and they are actually jealous of my p700 and the deal I got on it.

I tell you what, I'm going back to that dealer today with my trailer and I am going to f-ing go OFF! I only hope I don't end up in jail. man I'm mad. It's not the fact that the bike has a problem, or even the fact that Kaw hasnt issued a service bulletin, its that some little weasle in the back rode my ATV on concrete for a 1/2 an hour and then is going to tell me it doesnt sputter. first of all, what the hell is he doing riding my ATV on concrete for 1/2 an hour, I just put $600 worth of tires and rims on it, and second of all, just because he can't make it sputter in the parking lot, doesnt mean it doesnt do it when I'm out on the trail.

I convinced the dealer fix the low rpm miss, it's a week later and the needle is in, but no recall bolt yet. anybody else waiting on the recall bolt or is it just my dealer? buy a brand new 8K quad and can't ride it, that's great lol.

I would get the BF back and just tell them to call when they get the bolt in or you could just put some locktight on it and ride it. I would not let the dealer pull me around like that. I would order a needle myself or tell them to call me when they get a fix and ride the BF in the mean time. I have no clue about the 800 but I raced a 700efi and It was a joke. I could pull it with litterally 1/2 throttle. It rode awsome though much smoother than the BF and seems to be a great quad but def not fast!

yeah, I did get my BF back, and he has the needle jet, but he wants to do both things at once. I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing a delay in getting the recall work done.
