New snorkle design for Brute
I had a few flaws with my last snorkle design. It sucked in to much hot air for one. It also didn't suck in enough air, my pre-filters choked the motor to much. So tonight I took off my snorkles and will make my new snorkles out of PVC. My friend and I will be doing this tomorrow afternoon. We bought some parts today but didn't get everything we needed.
I will have video of my new snorkle design, its going to look cool and not crazy. It will be adaptable to the environment, so if your just driving around the trail and light water and mud you use the short pieces. If your going to go through some deep water or mud then you unscrew the short pieces and slap on the longer pieces that you store in the cargo box.
I also will be snorkling my CVT exhaust, its very easy. Remove the stock exhaust going under the seat. Buy the v-force CVT exhuast piece, it goes to the front of the quad. Snorkle that up to under the handle bars towards the rider.
Now you will be able to go into some deep water. Not entirely sure if under the handlebars is the correct place or not, if you get into to deep of water then it could drain into the CVT intake. Might have to snorkle it up front somewhere.
