I FOUND A NEW 04 PRARRIE 700 (RED) IN MY AREA AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE I WAS GETTING A GOOD PRICE FOR LAST YEARS MODEL. I WOULD GET AN 05 BUT THERE IS A VERY LIMITED QTY IN MY AREA.

WHAT DO YOU THINK A GOOD PRICE IS FOR THE 04.

ALSO IS IT WORTH IT TO GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY IF I PLAN ON KEEPING IT FOR AWHILE.....?

most 04's are going for between $5299 and $6599.

 

Wow thats a pretty big price gap for a brand new 04.

Where are they selling for 5299?

The best price ive been able to get is 6109 +tax for an 04 (red)

The best price for an 05 which no one can get me is about 6600 + tax (red) However availability is very low. Im sure the price will be a hundred or two more because they know they dont have many coming in.

 

They were listed on atvtraderonline.com for 5299 and I believe someone on here or another forum got one for that price.

 

I would bet he ment to type 6299.00 not 5299.00, Dealer cost on them is around 6200.00 and the last one I bought I had to sign some paper about getting a winch that I didn't get so they could get a credit since I paid 6299.00 out the door, with out the credit I think he had showed me were he was making less than a hundred dollars. I am not sure how each brand works as far as kick backs or hold back programs or if there is such a thing in the ATV industry, But if there is some dealer seling them for 5299.00 i am in and I sure don't need another one.

 

Sorry I was replying at the same time, Is that right 5299.00 thats incredable. I will have to check into that, Ill take one at that price, and sell my old P650. Most of the used ones are going for aroun 4200.00 to 4900.00 I could possably upgrade for less than a thousand. thats deffinantly somthing to think about anyway.

 

I can’t seem to find the ones listed for $5299 but there is a dealer in Ohio and Alabama selling them for $5995 and one in Michigan for $5695.

We are all talking about brand new out of the box. Seems like I could get a better price then 6100 + tax.

I also did hear about the waiver so the dealer still gets 100-150 from kawasaki.

Another 200 off would be nice since NY has such lovely taxes [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Any ideas on what I can do to get a better price.???

 

Just so you don't feel totally demoralized if you end up paying more than $5299 for a new Prairie 700, ... I paid $6700 OTD for a 2005 Team Green Prairie 700. And I thought that was a decent price.
