Default help kaw kfx400

i was just wondering if any one could help me . I have a kfx 400 and rcently put a procircuit t4 pipe on it .should i look at changing the jetting ???? what other mods can i do to give my bike more power with out spending thousands of dollars .. info in australia on quads is hard to find.. also anyone got reviews on maxxis tyres are they worth there value . please help

By the way, just installing an aftermarket pipe won't do much good. You think it makes more power because it's LOUDER. But that's quite deceiving. For IC engines to make more power, it has to burn more fuel/air. Need larger jets to burn more fuel. Some reputable aftermarket pipe companies tell you what (larger) jet size to put on. If no luck, try few sizes at a small increment and test on your butt-dyno.

Is it a full system.....from the head back......or just a slip-on?

I agree with HAYASHI........more fuel and much more air. You can put a gazillion mods on the bike, but if it doesn't BREATHE well, it will not perform well.
