Default Lakota Sport

I seen in my game (ATV offroad Fury 2 which came out in 02) that one of the choices for ATV was Lakota Sport.

I thought they quit making them in like 99. If they still do, I love them cause my uncle has a 98 Lakota and I love it

Do they still make them. If not, when did they stop making them, and how much would one roughly cost now? (a newest model one)

Well they quit making the lakota in 2000 and they just removed the racks and shredded a few pounds and renamed it the lakota sport for the years 2001-2003.2003 was the last year for them, but there still are a few places that are still selling the new 2003 models,if you find one like that they run for about $3500.Or you could get a used lakota sport for about $2000-$2500.If you get one, there are quite a few mods out there for it to make it more peppy.

hey Steve2004 lakota sport are the best i love my quad! Clover is right on with his info and it's true you can still pick them up new but for cheap. Don't ever pass it up because lakota's are hard to find and also they cost $4100. Check out my pics and my mods and what i have done to my lakota sport. It's fast as hell now.

Lakota 300 is long gone now from Kawi ATV line up. Its final model year was 2003 when Kawi started to sell KFX400 which is rebadged Suz Z400.

lakotas are great, they can do everything that a sport quad can do,but whats good about the lakota is that it can go through mud like a utility atv.But i guess in a way it is a utility.

well, my uncle has a 98 Lakota (everything stock) and I like it cause Im 15, and just now learning techiniques of racing, so I kinda wanted something not too big, but something that is easy to learn off of, and in the future, add custom parts to make it better

plus I love the fact that its auto clutch lol (I dont really like manual clutches)

Well Steve2004 i'm 15 too and i am like 6 feet tall and i fit the lakota sport perfect. I had a blaster and yes it was fast but a little small. My lakota sport flys and i think that if you drive it the right way you can really rip. Mine is crazy, and fast as hell from stock, it would do good if i raced. Also being based on the bayou motor with some parts like an exhaust, jets it really revs out and sounds good. The thing i don't like about the lakota's are their clutches. But a few dollars will fix that I plan on getting a new clutch soon (k&g).
