I have a 92 KDX250, and the mix the previous owner reqeusted is 50:1, that is not that mush oil at all.... i know, leaner makes it meaner, but it makes it run hotter. So what is the factory mix ratio for the gas...

**actualy, it is my dads, i have a 86 LT250r, and i run 32:1, would 32:1 be fine for a 92 KDX250...

I use the ratio the manufacture of the oil I am using to premix suggests. I use amsoil and I run it at 50:1.

 

aight, just wanted to check, 50:1 isnt a whole lot of oil, any body else running more oil for a KDX250? how does it run?

 

Don't hold me to this but I would almost bet when new it required 32 to 1.

New KDX's, 200, 220 are 32 to 1

 

Im guessing the manufacturer would tell you to run somewhere between 24 and 32:1.

I just go by what the premix suggests in my banshee and I have yet to have a problem.
