How can i get more top end out of these beast. my low to mid is great but then she's just dies.

Big bore kit will give you probably 10 more mph, from what I've read. A chain drive swingarm may be available next year for around $5k to put you over 90 mph, again from what I've read.

 

Add the Dalton Clutch cover, it should give you about 4 mph because it lets the belt travel a little further up the sheaves. that is the main problem with the V, once the belt is at the top of the pulleys you basically run out of gear. To get more speed you have to make the motor turn faster, like Heathen said Big Bore kit.

There also is some talk about getting some ring and pinions made up with a taller gear. It is gonna be pricey!

I think you can also get some decent top end by going to a NOS or Boondockers nitrous system.

I ride in the desert and almost always ride anywhere from 30 mph on up to top speed. The V-Force works best from 0 to 30 mph, like you say, but after that it just slowly cruises on up to its top speed. I owned two V-Forces last year and did lots of experimenting trying to get more top end performance out of them. I tried everything I could think of, including the usual airbox mods, performance exhaust, a slew of different clutch springs, the Dalton overdrive clutch cover, etc. Nothing really made a noticeable difference, But I finally found something that did help, ... it was the gas cap! I took the gas cap off of my V-Force and pulled a new DS650 underneath it, and then put the gas cap back on. Problem solved, LOL.

Just giving you a hard time, ... sorry I don't have any good suggestions for your V-Force.

The FST CDI box lets your motor rev higher, and gave my V a noticable mph gain.
