Going down is a tough decision but if performance is very similiar to my 700 I would be interested. The dealer is quoting a much lower price on a trade to the 650.
Are you serious? You are going to lose 75cc of engine just for the plastics? While the power of the 650 is excellent, it is not as good as the 700. If you have enough money to burn to lose money trading in a p700 for a bf650 then just buy the plastics from kawi and put them on your prairie.

mad dog is right, its alot cheaper to update your plastic than the whole quad. I am in the proces of replacing the plastic on my P650, but the only updating I am doing is with Twin peaks racks and bumpers. when its done it will look like a red Twin peaks.

I did notice you were concerned about the milage on your quad, so if you are serios about trading for a BF 650 I thought these RW Dyno numbers might be of interest to you.

Twin peaks 700 = 37.68hp with 56 #'s of TQ
Prarie 650 = 36.52hp with 57 #'s of TQ

both quads have Dyna CDI's K&N filters, and aftermarket pipes.

I have had both of those quads dynoed mutiple times, and they have never been more than 1-3hp apart from each other, unless you are racing, I do not think you will notice much difference. If you are running a stock CDI on your 700 now, then why not take part of that $500.00 you are saving over the prarie 700's price tag and buy the DYNA CDI for about $250.00. you can make the BF650's with modded CDI's out perform stock 700's and get the cool new looks to Boot.
