Default BF snorkel

I'm ready to build my own but first I need to know:
Does the CVT require an exhaust snorkel like the Yamaha's?
I know the CVT intake shares the carb intake.
Thanks!

Snorkle the CVT and air box intake. Look at my website for videos on how to do it. I recommend using a rubber 90 degree elbow for the fender and airbox mount. This will allow you to remove the airbox and fender if you need to in the future. I made the mistake of using PVC for everything and now I have to cut my snorkle off and redo it with rubber elbows.

Great Video!
1. So I assume we do not need to worrry about the CVT exhaust? I know the intake is at the air box with the carbs but I cannot tell if there is an exhaust for the CVT
2. Why is the PVC giving you trouble? Is it beacuse it won't flex?
3. Are you planning to raise your engine exhaust?

It seems lie it would be easier to close the current opening in the airbox and cut a new outlet a little higher and start from there?

Thanks,
Steve

The CVT exhaust has been good so far, no need to snorkle it. I do plan on doing it myself though, use the V-Force exhaust and its very easy.

The PVC, once connected does not allow for easy removal of the airbox. The reason is because all the pieces are cemented together and it becomes one big pipe, now its to hard to remove the fender and airbox. Use one rubber elbow on the airbox and one on the fender, then it can be removed with ease.

The engine exhaust is not a problem, watch my videos and you will see.

Gotta go.
