this CEO is a dumbass plain and simple. the utility market will be stable for years but he needs to realize that the sport market is trending upward at an exponential rate - theres room for more sales growth. 'hey, growth is what you want mr dumbass ceo!" cut your teeth somewhere else. to him i also say that his job is to increase share holder wealth and by pulling out of a market of increasing exposure is a decision that would make me fire him if i were chairman of the board of kawasaki.

its a wonder and just sheer amazement to me of how some people get to be CEOs of companies and they make sooooooooo much money just being pure stupid. they are paid to be a dumbass! how easy is that!

I know this has nothing to do with Kawasaki but Polaris just did something like this. They droped there complete watercraft line up for the same reasons Kawasaki did. Team Green was prolly the best out there, then they just drop it. It's been a sad year for powersports!

 

Since no one has produced numbers Kawasaki might feel like it will be able to reach with advertising dollars spent a wider audience other than racing.

 

Anyone else notice that there were no Kawasaki's in the Supercross race last Sunday; and I mean not one single Kawasaki [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]. Something tells me the new CEO at Kawasaki is going to have a rather steep learning curve.

But what do I know, ... we just bought a Kawasaki race bike yesterday. I bought a KX65 for my eight year old son. It's a cute little thing, and I think I had more fun riding it around last night than my son did [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img].
