but my freind just picked one up slightly used (under 15 hrs)for 3800 bucks. Nice wheeler.

Who pays retail? you can easly get 1grand us off the retail with some searching, especally with the 05's out and the changes on them.

3800 sounds about right for a nice used bike.

Well.........new for 2005: carbs, piggy-back style front shocks (fully adjustable) with more travel, easier to use drive-chain tensioner/adjuster, and maybe a small cosmetic enhancement here and there.
