Default KX500 performance help?

Hello everyone, was wondering if you Kawi guys could tell me some web sites that have performance parts or do machine work(porting, big bore, stroker things of this nature) for the KX500. I have done numerous searches with very little luck. Now I know this is a quad forum but Im building a Kawablaster for drags and hill climbing. And I already know of the vibration problems with the KX500. The 500 is already plenty powerful but if you are like me you always need more. Thanks for the help ahead of time.

I know i used to ride a kx500 and that bike was a beast. I didn't wear riding boots when i had it and still have scars from kick starting that bike. But man that is a monster. Where are you located?

You might try a local machine shop or go to your closest atv&motorcycle dealer and talk with them they could probably send you somewhere. Anyways good luck

Josh

Well thanks for the responce. Ya this thing is a pig. But you are right kicking it a chore. You see the thing is where I live there is only one Kawasaki dealer and he is a co@kmaster supreme!
What I really want is some port work done I guess pretty much anyone could do that but I was hoping to find a place with experience on the kx500.

http://www.sspowersports.com/

There is a phone number on that website call them and ask for parts someone should be able to give you a link to a place that could help you out more.

If that doesn't help let me know. I can give you another place.

I live in Bloomfield actually, me living out here so long I have sort of taken forgranted the great riding in NM. I mean I can hop on the wheeler and ride 1/2 mile of pavement and be in the dirt and ride for miles and miles its all BLM.
