terrible lakota shifting
#1
I was riding my lakota today and it just started getting hard to shift(grinding) out of nowhere. And now when its idling in gear, it jerks a little without touching the thorottle. What could the problem be?

Needs to be adjusted i adjusted mine last week and it seems to be better. It slips a little when my quad is cold but once it's warm i can go crazy. But if it is hard to shift than i'd say adjust it before your next ride because that's the problem change the oil. Also was your k&g clutch put in right because that could be the problem to.

Mine does the same, how much should I adjust the clutch out?

25083, check in your owner manual, under clutch adjustment, that's what i did. Off head i think you first have to loosen the locknut next, adjust the scew clockwise until it becomes hard, then turn the scew back counter clockwise until it becomes hard to turn then tighten the locknut again not touch your adjustment that you just did.
