Default no oil pressure

I,ve got 163 hours on it and have been very good about changing oil and i use synthentic oil so i don,t think it was caused by abuse the dealer tells me that the pumps are bullet proof and they have never had a failure. i,m in the process now of tearing it down to replace the pump

I heard that before LOL! My dealer at the time say run it with the oil light on because it's only a senor that's it.... I say NO we are going to fix it first, the dealer goes out side and start it up and drove it in the shop.... I went blistic... I told them to leave it off.... I even walked 2 hours and took my truck and pushed it on the truck when it went because there was no way I was running my machine with the oil light on. Turns out it wasn't a senor. Also the same dealer told me the oil pump was bullet proof.... By the way there is a sensor to look at too but I believe that it's your oil pump.

Had the same problem awhile back, it was the sensor at the bottom of the oil cooler (right side). It had came apart and blocked the return from the cooler.

Found out the problem talked to a dealer and he called Kawi and they said it not the pump but the releif valve it either fell out or came loose they have had a couple of these in the past the way to get to it with out splitting the motor is by removeing the swing arm so i did the valve was tight so for some reason i glanced at the oil pump and the bottom of the housing is busted so no matter what dealer tells you they are bullet proof i,ll argue with them any day hope this helps someone else
