Default P 700 Engine brake

I know this has been gone over before and I searched the forum but did not find my particular problem.

My 04 P 700 4wd and 2wd light started blinking at 1 second intervals again. Now my prairie engine brake just whines the whole time the machine is running. When put in gear the machine will take off on its own at idle, either in forward or reverse. Do I need to just buy a new actuator or clean the engine brake?

The brake does not reset after shutting the key off.

Thanks
Steve

Hello Dave,

Does your machine want to move on idle without the actuator?

Been a while since I heard from you . How are things going?

Steve

It runs great without the actuator...sqeals a bit @ an idle, but thats from the 700 belt and no shims
Runs even better since I packed my pipe....I forgot how much low end grunt back-pressure provides
Have you checked your fuse? Just a thought

Do you have to almost force it into gear??

Gotta get you guys down here to ride this winter when the river ices over. Sounds kind of dangerous but is a lot of fun if you are careful.
