BF winch
#1
Here is some info I learned from Warn. I had a guy asking about a 4.0 winch and mount for his BF. Warn said that you cannot use a 4.0 winch on one, that the batterie and alternator are not large enough to run one. You will be pushing it to use a 3.0 winch.

Do the research: I have ordered from these people(Click here: e-Winches.com - Home Page ) and they are very prompt in shipping.

J.C.! What would you ~really~ need a 4000# winch for-on an ATV? Are you planning on repo'ing 3/4 ton trucks? 2k-3k ought to be PLENTY. If not, use a ****** block. Don't fall into the "he who has the biggest ***** "nuts" the most" trap!------Damn! Oh, and if you're wondering (or give a f--k) why a Suz. dude is posting here: I raced Kawi's and still LOVE 'em!

No offense, but anyone is welcome here We all ride for the same purpose, like mud, mud, and more mud, right...... All the brands are ok these days, except when you come to trucks of course As for winches, hey whatever a guy wants to put on his rig, all the power to them.
By the way if I am stuck up too my arsh in mud, I do not have time nor the patience to be hooking up ****** blocks

I wonder why the specs you have call for a 12amp/hour min battery for winching for the 4000ci, when on warn's site it calls for a 500 CCA min. ??? The 12 Amp/hour is what they recommend for a 3000ci. I just wonder why that site would say one thing and on warn's site...it says another ? BTW I went with the 3000ci for the argo and just LOVE it...
