yeah, this first snow was little early, but nice to see none the less. i just thought from your post that you would get more snow than us living in michigan. cant wait for deeper stuff to see what the big ole brute will do.

 

Grizz, sometimes we get a butt load of snow and then hardley any. I used to live in the Canadian rockies( we got snow there, sometimes 1 foot at a single snow storm). It seems like you guys in NY get all the lake effect snow, sometimes a bunch eh[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I really like the Muzzy alot jp. It's not as loud as a Big Gun, probably closer to a Big Gun with the quiet packing. Just right, makes good power and the price was right.

 

Big Saint, a muffler mod is my next step. I just don't want to deal with repacking(think about a HMF), but price is a factor also[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I hear ya ( no pun intended). I've read that the HMF is very loud. As much as I'd like to have even more performance from my Brute, I can't live with a extremely loud exhaust.

 

You are right, performance and noise don't jive with me either. Too bad their is such a price to pay eh.

 

I got 28 inch Gators and love them. For any type of soft terrain they are incredible!! Most of my buddies that I ride with have Bearclaws. They are a decent tire but they need to get wheel spin going to go through most of the terrain we ride in. Whereas my Gators work exceptionally well at slow speeds just crawling along. Of course if I want I can just nut it and pass all of them!!! My only complaint with them is that the bars vibrate pretty good on hardpack. Anything over 35kph and your arms get tired quick!! They are a very heavy tire and you will want to either re-clutch or else increase bottom end power. Once their turning their pretty good.

 

i'm a little too far south for lake effect snows. we get a good amout of snow though. but if i drive 30 mins southhardly anything, drive 30mins north and the snow amouts almost double. kinda weird actually. one year we didnt get much and the next i couldnt drivr rubicon with gators across my front yard and spent an hour digging it out with a shovel, no trees to winch me out.;D
