Default Question about Dyna FS on Brute

I just ordered the Dyna cdi for my Brute and was wondering if I will have to change the jetting. I have already installed the Dynojet
stage one kit for stock exhaust. Will I have to jet up with Dyna? Thanks for any info.

Default Question about Dyna FS on Brute

It depends. Some have had no luck with the Dyna and the Brute, with or without the Dynojet kit. Many are reporting misses with the Dyna installed regardless of how they jet. My own personal experience with stock jetting and the Dyna cdi was that I needed to add 2 shims to the stock front needle jet. My bike had a low speed miss when cold but it went away as soon as the bike was warmed up. With the shims added the miss is pretty much non-existant when the bike is warm, still present when it's first started.

The Dyna hits hard, you are going to like it if you have no miss and the bike is running right . My best advice is to see how it performs and then make small changes if you need to work out the miss.

Run the Dyna for a while and see how it does. Then you could do a plug check, the color will tell you if your mix is rite. PM me if you want to ride this weekend, I'll let you try my Dyna.
