I bought a pair and had my dealer install them and they work great having 5 different settings for both the hands and thumb.
Pro's
-The best part is that you don't have to drill any holes for the contoller, it mounts on the handle bars.
-1 through to 5 heat settings, instead of high or low
-Easy to view lights with dimmer
Con's
-If you bend your bars you need to buy a new set because you can not take them off without wrecking them.
I recommed for anyone who rides in colder locations.

housefullofkawi,
You can buy a set of grip warmers that tape to your bars and go under the grips of your choice. They are from Kimpex and work great. I believe I bought my set from Rockymountainatv.com. They were around $25.00. This way, you have the benefits of grip warmers, but still have the grips that you like. I have had them on my P650 for two winters now and they are great.
By the way..... Where do you ride around Norwich? I grew up in Foster, RI (about 25 miles from Norwich) and used to work at Millstone Nuclear Powerplant, and the Plainfield Greyhound Park. I still ride w/ my brother-in-law, in Scituate, RI, a few times a year, but am always looking for new places to ride in the RI/ CT area, for this trips home to visit family.
