s2mickey, your post is gonna get washed away and the info will be lost.

However, this BF tech tip will stay around for a long time. Why don't you become a techtip author for the BF? Don't worry, it doesn't pay and it is not for profit. Just for the benefit of the sport.

2TV, yeah, it's supposed to do that sound you so acuratly described and then stop after about 10-20 seconds. mine just keeps going until I pull the fuse out.

2005BF750,
My P650 had the exact same problem...my dealer diagnosed the problem as a bad controller and once they installed a new controller, the KEBC stopped trying to CONTINUALLY reposition itself after you turn the key off (now it only does this once after you turn off the key). My guess is that a bad controller is what you are experiencing with your BF.
