Actually my 87 doesn't have low range. I don't know what year they started that.

 

Your Bayou is a 2wd with low range?

 

Thats a good question, my '93 had low range but dont know when they started it. Chances are the '88 doesnt have it either then.

No pics of the Bayou. I just used it for working around the property here, until I got the Prairie and Outlander. Now I use the Outy for everything, because the low range and traction is so much better than the Prairie.

 

No my bayou is a 4x4 but I thought the 2x4's had it too but that was too long ago for me to remember

a 1988 kawasaki bayou 300 is worth 1500 if its BRAND NEW NEVER USED CONDITION. I really wouldnt buy a old bike like that unless u ride it first and check everything out. 1988, that is more then 16 years already. You might pay and it might break on u while your in the middle of no where. But if its in good kept condition go for it.

The warrior is a nice quad but its a sport atv. but if you need 4x4 go with the bayou, if you need it to pull stuff, once again the bayou.

 

Yeah, but for $850, that's a steal. $1100 for a Warrior would be good to, if it's in good shape.
