Ripoffs tried to get my Quad
#1
I posted a quad for sale in the classified section of Atvconnection. i received an email from one of them overseas ripoffs who try to send you a check for about 4000 more than you are asking. Then send them the difference. I offered to personally kick his low life *** if he ever came to USA. I hope everyone is aware of this scam

OH I'm not blaming ATVconnection. There isn't much that can be done because they work from overseas. I think the ebay scams are different in that the ripoffs are posting quads for sale for cheap money. The one i encountered is they try to send you a fake certified check for more than you are asking. They say it takes to long to clear overseas so they have you cash it and while your waiting for it to clear send the money from your own account. Then when the checks clears it's rubber.

Hey timo, the same thing happened to me about a year ago in the classifieds. I reported it to the feds and they told me that it has been going on for about 3yrs. the crooks told me that they were comming to pick up the quad and I told them to come on. I sent the wife and kids to grandmas and I got a case of beer and $200.00 in ammo but they never showed

Way to go Gerald, they would get the same reception here too, but I wouldn't offer them a brew though

Go ahead and let them send a check. Then send them a toy quad from the dollar store. When they ask for a real quad, ask for a real check.

These guys need the **** beat out of them. I bid on a 450 on Ebay, was outbid and the auction ended without meeting the reserve. 5 different guys tryed to get me to buy it for my max bid through the "second chance offer". I reported it to ebay, but it still continued. I want to see these facks face-to-face with my 9!
