The pipe that I would put on is a white bros e-series.(that is what I have on my mojave)It sounds good and it gives it performance.Another pipe is a cobra exhaust. That is a good pipe too.

I dont see why you would want to unless its just for looks. 1 cylinder splitting to 2 pipes would actually slow down exhaust flow I think. A twin with a dual system works because each cylinder can breathe through its own pipe. You can make anything fit if you have the tools and hardware.

I have an old shcool DG Rcm exhaust on my Mojave and it's loud.I think that the newer ones that are tuneable sound better and give you just as much power. If at all possible I would check with the companys and see if they can give you dyno sheets on their pipes so you can compare them and see how they each differ in the RPM ranges.

I would also suggest getting a different CDI/black box along with the exhaust. When I first put my pipe on my Mojave I kept running into the rev limiter which never happened before the pipe.I use a Four Stroke Tech modified black box that cost me around $80 about 6 years ago or so.Along with the pipe and CDI I would also suggest a different filter and some type of airbox mod.

Companies like Curtis Sparks and Four Stoke Tech can give you all the info that you need about doing stuff to Mojaves. Those guys were actually racing them back in 1987 & 1988 when the only bikes to race in the four-stroke class were Mojave's, 250X's and Quadsport 230's.

I've gotten some pic's of my 1988 Mojave in the link under my signature.I've owned it since Christmas of 1987.
