25" or 26" Bighorns??? Pro and Cons of a larger tire?
Anyone had a chance to ride and review the larger sized Bighorn Radials now available in 26 and 27 inch sizes?
I was dead set on getting the 25" Bighorns to keep the sporty feel and since their already a heavy tire, not to rob any more power from my Prairie 700. But, I'm kind of thinking about getting them in the 26 inch size now. Should allow a little more ground clearance, which I don't care about, but an inch wider in the front and 2 inches wider in the rear should make the machine handle a little better and get a little better traction (or at worst off-set in the tippiness of the tire being a little taller then the 25's).
Any thoughts or reviews of the larger size? I read a review of the 27 inch Bighorn on another web site and they loved them. Better traction in all conditions (even in deep mud) according to this review.

I just bolted on some 26" bighorns on my 700 Twin Peaks. I have not ridden it much yet, but a few 45+ mph dashes on the street in my community proved I did not loose any performance to speak of. I did a quick ride in the woods on some leaves and the tires feel great. Hope to get in some mud in the next week or so. I say go with the 26s.

Only weights on their web site are for the 25 inchers... 21lbs. on the front and 27lbs. on the rears (rounded off). Matt at ATV Outfitters told me 1lb more for the fronts and 2 lbs more for the rear (approx.) on the new 26 inch size.
I'm curious what the actual shipping weight of each tire and rim is...
