I just noticed tonight that my 4x4 is not working right. The Display says it is in, but there is no power getting to the wheels. I have tried to search on here, but do not find what I am looking for. But please if someone could tell me, what I could do the check it I would appreciate it. I have it in a heated garage and that did not help anything. Thanks again

I just had a problem w/ my p 650 the 4x4 wouldn't work. there were no noises comin from the front end so i checked the fuses. Sure enough a fuse was blown. This isn't the whole story though..... I replaced the fuse and still had problems. So i learned that the 4xd4 engine braking, and something else was all tied into the same fuse. The engine braking would run continously even when the unit was ubolted from the machine. I didn't know what the deal was. I took it to my dealer, and it was a computer box (no technical terms here) that was bad. it's real easy to replace. Right next to the fuses, but that was my problem

 

THANKS FOR THE REPLY, I JUST DONT WANT TO TAKE SOMETHING APART THAT I DONT NEED TO, AND NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT BACK TOGETHER. I KNOW THAT THE DIFF, HAS TO BE IN A CERTAIN ORDER. BUT THANKS AGAIN FOR THE INFO.

Hey how about the module. It just unplugs, and it's out. If there is no noises coming from the front end. I would be willing to bet you had the same problem as me

 

The fuses, are ok, I am thinking that no power is getting to the accuator. But I will look at it a little more today. It sucks not having the 4x4 almost got stuck today. Kinda wishing i had back my old trusty 500 rubicon right now, simple 4x4 all the time. But anyways I will keep you posted. Joe
