I know this thread has been beat to death, but
2005BF750,
Any module will amplify the miss, studer because the miss is a carb problem from factory. Kawi has rectified the situation by installing a new needle in the front carb, the front carb was set lean from factory. A module will jump the timing to 28* immediately off idle. Dyna cdi will accentuate the lean response as it has a higher timing advance up to 33* this has been documented many times. The needle is an N4MT you can get it from your dealer. Once you have installed the new needle you will no longer have any problems with the low end miss!!!

I fought and fought for weeks with my dealer about this problem and they installed a new needle, the same one for the front that's in the back and it didnt help. is this another needle and should they be aware of this? last time they didnt know squat, I had to show them threads off here to get them to do anything, but that's not the part number I asked for.

Thanks for the info about the modules. I was just concerned because my dealer use to carry both the HL and the DG's but has stopped carrying the DG's because he said they have had nothing but problems with them. I found this weird since every where else that I have researched almost exclusively swears by the DG.
Also, which is the better buy for performance- Twin Air or K&N air filter?
