well i talked to my dealer today. normally she doesnt tell me anything, like when i asked about the bf. well today she told me the kawie will have a 450 bike this spring and the quad will follow shortly after. now i asked about team green and sponcership. curls i read that issue. she told me she still has ppl on her roster. kawie is still supporting the little guy.

 

kawi drop the gncc and suzuki picked it up, there turn. i say there will be at least one 450 kawi quad out by say may or june 2005. huh

 

Kaw dropped the GNCC program to say money. They also laided off some people in Atlanta and Ca to save money,plus dropped the drag bike support. It costed them a whole lot of money to get Bubba and the team togetherfor this year. They overspent and the atv's again are paying the bill.
Now, this is what I think, the bike will be out this spring for Bubba to ride in the outdoors. The quad is anyones guess. I hope that it does come out in the summer. Remember that Honda said that there 450 would be out in the fall and the date keep getting pushed back. It finialy came out in Jan, how many months later. We do know that they are working on the 450 quad, how far along it is we don't know. Thous that do, can't tell us.

 

I am really hopping that Kawi is positioned to sponsor the little guys again. They really have innovative products that push the envelope more then some of the other ATV manufactures. Hopefully they will come up with a 450 quad and then renew the support in the GNCC.

 

When this new killer comes out- who will be the rider to campaign the thing?

 

kaw don't have the 450 bike out yet.the suzuki's 450 quad is going to be out in june 2005 but not kaw's.kaw drop gncc.if kaw do'es come out with one it won't be till 2006 or later.

 

i agree with blackbird kawi hasnt even dropped their new 450 bike so it wont be till next year that we see the 450 atv.

 

KVRMUDDRUNNER, I know people have been trying to pump you for info and your rep name and everything else. I have a simple question you could ask your rep. Will the KFX450 have reverse, Kawasaki will have to come up with something to make this bike worth buying!! If you find out please post because having a reverse could really put the atv up in sales and popularity.

 

Oldgrump i doubt that the new Kawi 450 would have reverse because they are try to make an almost race ready Quad like the yfz450 or trx450r. if they add reverse then they have more weight which some people look at as bad. JMO
