Default 2002 prairie winch installation

A friend of mine just picked a winch for his "03" praire 650. He called me to help him install it, but I was not sure were to mount the the main control block. I have a brute force and was able to mount it were the tool kit was, but there is not enough room under the seat on the 650. We were thinking about mounting it in the storage container under the seat. Does anyone have any other suggestions or pictures that might help. Would appreciate any help. thanks in advance.

I have mine under the seat for the warn 3000, I bent two pieces of thin metal and rapped them around the cross bar down at the bottom of the battery. Then drilled holes in the ends that meet so they are tight on the cross bar when clamped, bolt the contactor to them at the same time. It works perfect, not much water up there and the wires come right to it through the shifter casing/plastic.

I put mine in the same place as DOA only i fabricated a bracket and welded it to the cross bar the only thing is I had to install all the wires before i bolted the thing up.It is a good spot and out of the way.
