Default DG Holeshot/Dynatec CDI Question

I am considering going for the new CDI. I currently have the Holeshot installed. I soldered it when I installed it. Will I have to remove it and hook the pink wire back up or will the new CDI just over-ride the Holeshot?

dont worry about it. I did the same thing, I just left mine hooked up. The CDI doesnt use the speed sensor for changes so it wont help or hurt leaving it hooked up.

Thanks Rivermud, I really didn't want to un-solder all the wires. Anything I should know about the CDI installation that I haven't already read?

CDI instalation takes about 30 seconds. Unplug the old one and plug in the new one. Enjoy.
