Hey guys i was just curious is there any sport quad out there that can beat the 700 stock?is it shaft drive?and it s only 2wd isnt it?

 

beat it in what? You need to elaborate.

Drag race over 300 feet:
the V will lose to the DS 650, YFZ 450, TRX 450, Predator, ATK 450, Gas Gas 300HP/450HP, Banshee, and the Raptor.

Holeshot:
it will be close, but the V has potential to beat all machines listed above on the holeshot to 30 mph.

MX Race:
the V will lose to all listed above.

X-Country:
the V can, and has, beat most of the machines listed above.

As far as shaft drive, none of the machines listed are shaft drive except the V and all are 2wd.

 

I'll second what LEP7mm said.

Bubs, don't think that just because the KFX 700 has the largest displacement that it's the fastest. Many people buy these things thinking they are the fastest and learn the hard way that their not. Kawasaki tunes the KFX to be very mild out out of the box and the Auto tranny, along with the heavy weight hampers all out performance. However, they do have good potential and after you put on a few mods, they can be competitive with all the quads listed above.

 

Yep, I agree with you all. I can smoke all others off the line. Great thing is you don't have to worry about shiftin. Just lean forward and gas it! Put some hop up parts on the V Force and you'll definately be able to smokem them all and then some!

 

In stock form the V will get beat by most of them. Again, rider has something to do with it also. Put some of the hop-up kits on and it is a totally different quad. Just because it has 700 cc will make it fast. Most quads if you look real close will have just about the same top end speed.
There are some riders that just can't understand that the 450 race bikes will beat the 660 Raptor. I even saw the other day someone trying to say that the 350 Warrior/Raptor would be faster than the 400 quads because it has 6-speeds compared to the others with only 5 speeds.

 

Today, the number of CC's you got doesn't mean anything. Its all about engine balance and frames. The 450's are soo damn light compared to the V-Force which is a tank. I' ve been able to beat all other atvs (so far) off the line in a drag since I got the auto. Just lean forward and hammer it! I haven't had the chance to race any of the other 450's. I'd like to just to see what the V will do against them. Don't know who will win.
