hi all.
i was out riding the new quad today and it seemed that i could feel it bottem out.
or what feels like its hitting.
when going down the trail.
if i push on the front end its petty soft.
is there some kind of ajustment for them.
can i make them stiffer.
or is it because of the macpherson struts its so soft.
i ride this trail all the time with my honda and i have never felt it bottem out like this.
any help would be grate.

the front struts on the 700 are really soft ,and no there is no adjustment on them. look for threads about progressive springs for the front, they are supposed to take care of the diving and bottoming out your feeling.

thanks for the tip on progressive suspention.
i was just looking at them on the net and i can get them sent to my door inclueding tax for $248 cdn.
again thanks.
PS.
alwaysride.
i dont think the tires have anything to do with it botteming out.
all my buddys have big tires on there quads and mines the only one thet hits like this.
i have a friend with a 650 p and he was saying his bottems out sometims too and he dont ride his very hard.

248.00 cdn? You may want to compare that price over the elkas, a real progressive reated spring. Call Progressive and they will admit their springs for the Prairies are not progressive, but just a stiffer spring.
Do a search here on Elka's and see my report.
Good Luck
