what will kawasaki do?
Does any one know what kawasaki is planning to do in the next year or to? Will they build a new prairie off the brute 750 engine? I ask because i want to up grade (power wise) from my 650 to a 750 but I dont want a IRS quad. I would love to have a 750 or 800 prairie with a dyna and a few other mods So i could roast a few yfz's and rappys. any way if any one had any info please share it.. thanks

I asked my trusted dealer the other day when I was in for my 1000 mile service and here is all he had:
- The Prairie 700 will still be sold
- NO fuel injection for the Brutes ( 650 / 750)
- NO SRA for the 750 Brute, only the 650 and 700
- No announcement about an 800 or bigger engine
Of course, this is not straight from kawasaki so it may not be 100% accurate, but this dealer sells ONLY Kawi and knows them pretty good. The info is fairly reliable I guess.
So basically, 2006 is looking like 2005 for Kawi with only minor tweaks and improvements on the current models...

Yeah, lets complain about Kawi not doing much this year, lets forget they were already a few years ahead of the others in quality and performance. However, there are rumors of a 800EFI I've seen. A few years with not much change is a good thing, this practice is common with Honda and Yamaha. that means they are busy proving something new in the Development Dept. NOT sitting on their asses wondering what to do next if thats what you think.
