lasting kawasaki

hey, just about how many miles do people put on their kawasakis. I think kawasaki is very relieable and will last for a long time but what kind of miles are you getting. I saw one guy on here who has like 12000 claimed miles(really he has it in kms). Ive had my 360 for over a year and have around 125 hours on it. I bet i have somwhere around 1200 or so miles on it. What do yall have. later

For a while there I was putting 800-1000 miles a month on my Mojave. I was using my GPS to keep track of the miles I was riding. Unfortunatly I got the GPS after I had the quad. It shows 15K since I began riding w/it.
I don't know the total but I would say 20K is very probable and 30K possible. My Mo has not been very reliable. Not as reliable as my friends Honda's that have the same miles on them as I have.
I've rebuilt the top 2 times, replaced the rings again a few months ago.
I "think" I'm on my 3rd intake cam and rocker arm.....Maybe 4th as I have forgoten exactly.
1 exhaust cam and rocker arm
All 4 valves, guides and seals. It needs them again.
1 Shifter shaft and It needs another now.
3 sets of tires bot front and back---normal wear stuff
2nd set of chain and sprockets----normal stuff too.
The Honda's my friends ride have not even adjusted the valves yet!

I have around 5k miles on my 360.. I cant say I'm overly impressed with Kawi, I have gone through 3 4x4 actuators (think I finally found the problem) 1 clutch cover, 1 set of weights & pins, & now I really need to rebuild the entire primary clutch.. Engine has been just fine, I hope it does better then some of the other componets

Well let me say this about that. I purchased a 300 prairie 300 4x2 new in 2002, used it hard, abused it on occasion, and honestly never had a problem other than replacing a spark plug. I used it for ranch work, and used it hard.
Well I sold it, and bought a 2005 36 prairie 4x4, and I am thinking that the boys at kawa either slipped a gear in the quality control department, or are designing a machine that will require many trips back to the dealer for high priced repairs.
If I hadn't been so sold on the quality of my first prairie, I would have asked questions, and shoped other brands.
I am thinking I made a mistake by thinking the 2005 were made like the 2002's.
just wondering if other previous kawa owners are discovering the same.
I would have a real problem advising a new buyer to purchase a new Kawasaki based on my experience with the 2005, and I only have 10 hours on it.
