Default OUCH!!

Crashed the V today. Went out for a ride and once I got home, I made one trip around my yard and hit some ice. I was doing about 15 when I spun around and hit a tree square in the clutch cover. The clutch is wobbling now, there's a hole in the cover where the bolt head broke through, front fenders will need to be replaced, reverse limiter no longer works (but this could be a good thing) and it's hard to shift into gear/neutral. Damn this sucks.

Good thing your still OK..

You say the clutch wabbles? Hopefully it's just a bent bolt that holds the pulley on and nothing more serious. good luck getting it back on the trail

just got a closer look today a the carnage. Looks like I need a new frame as the motor is pushed 1"+ to the left in the frame, bent clutch, hole in the clutch cover, cracked front fender. Glad I have insurance.

Mildred, the ice section was missing from my Safety Instructor's Manual wasn't it?

Mildred, where did I put the chain saw!

Oh, no! Who knew it would fall that way!

When did the roofer say he would be here?

The Sierra Club lawyer said what about endangered trees?

You say homeowners insurance won't cover it? The new rates are what now?

Mildred, where did I put the For Sale sign?

(nobody hurt....no offense)

Good ones Kawi. No offense taken. It's all in good humor. Goes to show that accidents can happen to anyone. Even a Safety Instructor .

I'm really kicking myself because I had an opportunity to buy a set of nerfs but I turned them down. If the nerfs would've been on, it would have saved me a lot of damage. Needless to say , they might find their way on there once everything gets replaced. Debating even going to the orange plastic so it match's my DS a little better.
