i just got my dg alloy nerf bars in for my lakota and they feel pritty heavy. i havent had a chance to put them on and take off the heal guards because my engine is getting rebuilt, anyways i just thought they proally would be lighter then the heal guards

ya, i was going to take my heel guards off also, i got them because of the added protection and to try and loose some of the weight.

The alloy nerfs are a good deal lighter allright. If you find them not really lighter than the heel guards, are they infact alloy? there are steel ones out there as well.
