I know there have to be some "won't buy anything, but a Kawasaki" fans that have been waiting just for this new bike. Are there such people on the forum? Are you glad and are you totally surprised that apparently no information leaks occurred prior to the recent news?

 

every time we talk about kawasaki where i live we call them Kawasuck but i thin im going to like the new 650 it looks bad

 

I don't think that term will be used much, now. I would love to see an "exploded" view of the new differential and how it works. That is very intriguing. The new auto tranny on the Traxter is different from the belts and hydromechanical available and I would like to see more about it.

 

There is one thing that might decide me to get without arguing the new prairie. Does it have independent rear wheels (like the sportsman). If not, Polaris is still better...hum...a Vtwin is really good.Ah, the choice is gonna be hard.

 

I am totally suprised. I have a 98 Prairie 400 and was at the dealership last week and he had no idea. He said he wished they would release a new sport quad. I wouldn't exactly say the 650 is a sport quad but it looks like a winner. I am definately excited! I can't wait to test ride one.

Before getting into quads, I owned a Kawasaki STX1100 watercraft, & loved it. Kawasaki makes the best quality watercraft out there. If the Kawasaki quality is in the new beast, then you can sign me up for one!

I think the riders are excited, the other manufacturers have to be thinking, "oh crap" we have to catch up!

The Honda Rubicon didn't make as big of splash in the industry as Honda brass was hoping for.

 

i have always liked kawasaki even when mine breaks i am glad they came out with the 650 i have been thinkin about a 4x4 but i wanted a bigger engine than a 400 i was hoping for a 500 praire but this is a hole lot better cant wait to test ride one but like i herd someone say no one new about this quad till kawasaki aunced it so maby they have been doing the same thing with a sport quad and just hasent told any body about it yet.we can only hope.

Highlifter told me it was coming out when I called them Monday. I didn't put much stock into it. The next day, there it was. Only a days notice for me, but they knew something beforehand.

 

Man, I've been drooling ever since I laid eye's on it. I was considering a Rubicon or a magnum next. But not anymore. I WANT ONE NOW!!
My 400 4x4 Prarie has been great, but a - can I say it...........650... oooh that sounds so good, I CAN't WAIT!!
