It is cool of Kawasaki to do this right out of the blue and BAM! kick butt quad. Raised the ante right through the roof on the big bore utility market. Honda just came out with there little 500 Ruby and Polaris with the HO, but that pales to the 650 TWIN! hey if Polaris doesn't have a something to counter it i will be wearing green the next time I want a new quad.

 

The Kawasaki dealer in my town didn't even know about the 650 until 9/20/00. It was pretty secret. Then what got my goat they said they wasn't going to order any. I told them that was a pretty stupid decision, because they could of had a sales record. How you think people like that stay in buisiness?

didnt make a big splash, No kidding the only thing the rubicon has going for it is the new tranny. I think its time for Honda to get with the Heartbeat of america and build what people want. I mean C,mon drum brakes full time four wheel drive,they call this new. I was all set to buy one thank god i didnt. I have a Grizzly and its twice the machine the Rubicon is. when its time to move up team green may be in the back of my pickup.

 

I may not be a DieHard Kawasaki fan, but that new 650 is a beast. Congrats to Kawasaki for a new quad that is a shocker to most people. As most of you know, most people were saying that Kawi needed a new advanced quad, and here it is. I just wish they would make Tecates again. WOW, were those things awesome.

 

Has anyone heard a ballpark figure of what the price may be?

 

While at the Rocky Mtn ATV Jamboree, the rep from Kawasaki told me it would be the same as the Sportsman and Rubicon, I think that is $6999.00

 

I have a heavily modified 95 400 4X4 that I would not trade for the world.It keeps up with most all machines and is only ocasionally out done by a much newer and more expensive Honda or Polaris.BUTTTT I would trade it and posibly my wifes car my house and my race car and my tractor and maybe even my hunting dog for this beast.Remember sink it,kill it and if it comes back it is yours!!!!!!!
