Default Prairie pipe?

This year my dad is going to buy a Prairie 700. It's perfect for him with one exception. He loves the V-Forces with dual exhaust (who doesn't) and said he has to have something like it since a V-Force for him wouldn't be practical. So does anyone make a dual exhaust kit for a Prairie, if not what's the next best.

I would look at the Nyroc mod for the 700. I have it done to mine and everyone who hears it, loves it. It sounds like a Harley.

I know this sounds wierd but my dad completely hates that idea. He would rather spend hundreds of dollars to get it done "right". So have you heard of a company that makes duals for the Prairie? Just wondering what does that muffler deal look like anyway.

Only one can dream of duels for the Prairie, I have asked everyone i know to make them. Seems like there are too many problems with the duels. With all the technology out I can't believe someone can't do it. We put a man on the moon , but can't make duels for the V-Twin

One of the biggest problems with duels for the v-twin is the placement of the gas tank. It is right in the way of running a pipe down that side of that bike.

Seems to me they can make a duel muffler, both pipes run into it and have duel outlets. It could go on the same side as it is now

Some people run duels one on top of the other. I have heard some people put 2 glasspacks on. As far as doing it "right" they dont have duels but penland has nice exhaust. Although its kind of a waste for a stock prairie if your looking for power. If its just the sound or looks your after, thats different.

The Penland is made By HMF and stamps it with his name on it, I have herd HMF's are pretty good. I prfer the full system with stainless pipes from Pro circut. I had a suppertrap slip on for my P650 at first, but after the First Procircut system I was hooked. I love the look and the sound of the Pro Circut. I went with the Procircut again on my 800 and later swapped the P650 over to the Procircut full system as well. The only experince I have had with HMF was on a Grizz 660 and it was just way to loud for my taste. I like to here them but I don't like waking up the whole naborhood when loading for a riding trip early in the moorning. I have herd that HMF is offering quieter pipes now. But based on the experince I have been having with the Pro circuts I doubt I ever switch.

If you look at my pics ypu can see the pipe in some of the shots. Look at pic's 8,11, and 19

CC1999, i can tell you do a lot of sport riding by your tire choices, have you ever heard or seen the Penland pipe? And do you have the full system or the slip-on? Sweetquads, have you ever compared the two either? Also how loud is the Penland pipe with and without the quiet core? That Pro Circuit looks just like mine and me and my dad both love Pro Circuit so it looks like it's leaning towards that one unless somone can put me in favor of the Penland pipe with a good review or a comparo.
