Has anyone had any dealings with Goodyear Mud trackers??? are they worth anything, I seem to think I am the only one that runs them. I have had good luck with them on every thing else, I thought what the hell they must make a good atv tire. I just dont hear anyone talking about them.

The main reason I went with the ATRs over the bighorns is the weight difference. In close races even a couple pounds of unsprung weight can make or break you. I dont know anything about goodyear mudtrackers.

I'd leave the Big Horns alone, if you like to drag... they are boat anchors... you can take my opinion for what it's worth, but I personally own more tires than I care to admit... & from the way you are describing how you like to ride, my 1st choice would likely be the Maxxis All Tracs... don't let the advertised 2 ply carcass fool you... these tires are every bit as tough as any ATR... my second choice, since you do say that 1ft deep mud is a possibility, would be the Carlysle Badlands radial ( these are a 4 ply tire )... make sure if you get them, in the 11" wide rears... then probably the new Wetlands radial, or the ATR's... there ia also a slug of new tires coming out right now, that are really designed for the type of riding you are describing... if you are leaning towards the Big Horns anyway.... at least check out the GBC Big Horn clones... same basic tread pattern, but the lugs are skelletonized, offering more biting edges, & less weight...

How is the all tracs side wall stiffness. I wanted the 6 ply for better cornerning and less roll.

What are the GBC clones ?

Have anymore info on the new tires ?

Ok I found them. Those tires look awesome but weigh the same as the bighorns and doesnt specify if they are radial or not.

I can get them bighorns for 60$ a tire. I will check tomorrow on the all tracks. But I really dont want body roll. Im having a hard enough time as is with the stock tires.

Also... aftermarket wheels or just buy some spacers for my stock ones ?

I'd get some wheels. You are already adding a lot of weight with the tires, so you can maybe offset that with some lighter wheels.

you won't have a problem with side wall flex on the alltracks between the c 5's and the alltracks the handling of my bf was greatly increased plus at 4lbs the tires ride nice too don't understand why good tires don't come oem on these machines it's like putting a pepboys tire on a viper can u say sit and spin plus the handling of the stock bf is so bad i was ready to get ride of it coming of the magical p700 i would have never thought just tires and rims would have improved it that much the only complaint i have with the alltracks is they hook up to much mainly because of the more rear biased weight transfer of the bf it squats when u gas it with my 260 lbs it hooks i'm thinking as they wear they will slide better on your tp 700 they will be just fine hope that helps

GSX... BTW... just because a tire is listed as a 6 ply, doesn't mean that it has a 6 ply sidewall... most are only 1 or 2 plys on the sidewall... also plys ( the fabric that reinforces the rubber ), can be different thicknesses, & made of different materials ( even Kevlar on some tires )... even if you look at most passenger car tires, they are only 2 ply on the sidewall ( automotive tires are required to list their ply rating & construction... ATV tires are not required, & I'm not aware of any tire that lists it )... ATR's for example, have very soft thin sidewalls, which cuts down on the weight, & improves ride quality... most GNCC type racers that tried the ATR's, don't like the softness of the sidewalls on that tire, & switched to ( seems like most utility's ), are running Big Horns, or All Tracs...
