DOes it really help as much as they say when added jets and a k and n or uni filter

 

what type of quad? I didnt notice a change on mine. You would see alot bigger change with a $20 primary spring, module, or CDI. Im sure the snorkle, jets, and high flow filter help. but its not going to make you say WOW! what an improvement.

Did not notice a big change with the snorkel either. One thing for sure you'll have to rejet with addition of snorkel & new filter. Like RiverMud said, your biggest Bang for buck will be the CDI and Spring (Dalton Orange/Blue primary a good choice/start); Hands down.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Yeah...I have a BF 650...I am installing a HMF Penland Pipe today...that may help a little...It comes with a free uni filter as a bonus...Also are both jets in the Float Bowl...and is it that hard to do...seems easy to change just little space to work with.

Can you only change teh primary w/out changing the secondary???
Cause i know where some dalton springs are now in my area in stock.

 

The main jets are in the float bowls. unbolt the fuel petcock and move aside then its not to hard to get to them. Be carefull not to strip the screws they are on tight and not real strong. The needles are a bit harder to get to, they are on the other side and you will need to remove the airbox to get to them.

You can change the primary without changing the secondary. The primary spring change does not require any special tools like a puller or spring compresser.
