Bike was running good, it was 50*, jetting may be a little lean. Would pull 3 mph faster on my set parimiters. 75 up a slight hill and 80 down the slight gravel hill. Was considering big bore but if stays running this good ,I will leave it alone, just wish it would run this well with the mud lights.

It didn't run as good when colder outside. I wrapped the pipe but still takes a few miles before power comes up. Still not sure o the attac system.

Congrats, Travelor!!

Sounds like you are the first to bust the 80 MPH barrier on a Utility Quad. You have the highest Top Speed on the forum!!. You should contact some of the Magazines & perhaps they can do a spread on your Cotch-Rocket that's impersonating a Utility Quad.

Happy Trails

Thanks TuffEnuff, I don't think it is a big deal. It didn't hold that speed, went to 79. Would be less on radar. Mike Penland got 83 out of his 770 kit, He had not cut his clutches. If only I can keep the awsum accelleration with the mud lights. Cann't wait to try it on pavement. Was going to big bore it but I think it is fast enough.

that is still very fast... but Friezen is right, there are a few of us out there with 80 mph under our belt... I'm looking for 80 mph in the 1/4 mile at the drag strip this summer...

Does it take a long time to get full power? I have to run back and forth wide open for about 6 miles before it really starts running fast.

the BBK's with their more radical cams, & a CDI, without the retard at the topend, help fix that dramatically...

That 830cc sounds very tempting.
