heavy duty rear prarie700 shock

Anybody either changed the spring or shock assembly to a stronger unit to carry more weight? I know elka (855.00) makes one, looking for a normal priced solution. thanks

look at the pics in my bio... cost me $100.00 to add the 2 extra Fox shocks, & I can adjust the preload on the Fox shocks, & tune them for my riding style, I can remove them or the springs if not needed...

interestingly enough... I was just looking at that this last weekend... I think the springs would go right on ( have to trim off the spring tab that goes into the preload adjuster ), they are 1.5" longer, & seem to be about the same ( by hand ) pressure... BTW... I think if the preload adjuster was machined out just slightly, it would fit on our strut... I got these used from a used sled parts dealer, they came off a Polaris Indy, & the $100.00 price included a rebuild on the shocks... if I can get a preload adjuster by it's self, for a reasonable price, I may machine out the center, & add a set screw, & install them on the struts...
