Default Who has moose hand guards?

I had brought some moose guards for my 03 prairie and went to install them. They seam a little tight for the hand to grab the dif lock lever. For those who have them does it work out good for you?
I have them on my vinson and they fit great, but I think they dont fit the prairie so well.

hey, i have a pair of mair gaurds on my 360 which has the same set up as the 650 and they work fine. during the summer when i have my regular riding gloves on and i have to grab the lock there is no problem. But during the winter when i have my think winter gloves on there is a little trouble grabbing the lever. ITs not no big deal. I would much rather have a small problem like that than to not have hand gaurds at all. They will work fine.

I have the moose guards and its exactly what "alwaysride" says about the winter gloves.Thats one bad thing about them, the other is thay tell you to cut the dust boots off, didn't like that at all. That being said, I love the protection they give you from rain and snow. They also look good as well.M/M.

what i did was cut the boots so that i can keep them on over the hand gaurd. IT works good. JUst one little scissor cut if i remember right.

I have the Moose Guards on my 700, they are alil tight on the left side. Alot of levers in there. but I also have the heated grips so I only wear a thin leather glove.

yep same thing on mine... even though they are tight on the locking lever... I wouldn't think about pulling them off...

Thanks for the input, My prairie is a basket case so I will leave the moose guards on and see how it works when I get back running again.
